Sous Chef Summer Camps 2026

The Sous Chef Summer Class gives high school students an exciting opportunity to experience what it’s like to work in a professional kitchen. This one-week program is designed for aspiring chefs who want to build advanced kitchen skills while gaining confidence, leadership, and real-world culinary experience.

Each session accepts only one Sous Chef, allowing for focused instruction and meaningful responsibility. While the class runs alongside our Junior Chef program, the Sous Chef takes on an elevated role—helping organize the kitchen, support the team, and ensure ingredients are prepared correctly and safely.

How It Works
Prospective Sous Chefs will apply through our application process. Preference will be given to students whose availability and schedule align best with camp needs. Selected students will receive an email notification along with a private registration link to complete the enrollment process.

Applications open on Monday, January 19th, 2026.

 

What Students Will Learn:

  • Culinary Skills: Knife techniques, baking basics, cooking methods, and food presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Organizing stations, teamwork, and quality control.
  • Food Safety: Maintaining cleanliness and handling ingredients properly.
  • Team Leader: Act as second in command to the Chef. Support and lead the session, help keep the kitchen organized and running smoothly and ensure everyone is successful.

Cost: $250 plus tax for a full week of hands-on learning

      • June 8-12,  1pm-4pm
      • June 22-26, 8am-11am
      • July 6-10, 1pm-4pm
      • July 20-24, 8am-11am
      • Aug 3-7, 1pm-4pm
      • Aug 17-21, 8am-11am
