Sous Chef Summer Camp: Home Style Comfort Week
The Sous Chef Summer Camp is an exciting one-week culinary adventure designed just for high schoolers ready to level up in the kitchen! While working alongside the Junior Chef program, Sous Chef students step into leadership roles—organizing their teams, checking ingredients, and keeping the kitchen humming. They'll take on fun, hands-on roles like Kitchen Organizer, Taste Tester, and Food Safety Monitor while building confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for cooking.
This week's theme is Home Style Comfort, where your young chef will explore cozy, family-friendly dishes from around the world—perfect for warm, feel-good nights in. Each day offers a new opportunity to master comforting classics while learning what it takes to be a sous chef in a professional setting. By the end of camp, your teen will be serving up global comfort food with a side of teamwork and a dash of kitchen savvy.
What Students Will Learn:
- Culinary Skills: Knife techniques, baking basics, cooking methods, and food presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Organizing stations, teamwork, and quality control.
